Bournemouth eyeing another Mandas loan

Latest from Your Site News' Mark McAdam:

Bournemouth are exploring conditions of another potential loan deal for Lazio Goalkeeper Christos Mandas

The Greece international joined Bournemouth on loan in January but didnt trigger the necessary appearances to make the move a permanent one.

However, Bournemouth like the 24-year-old and would be open to a new loan deal for next season providing the numbers work for both parties.

Talks continue between both parties - Bournemouth have an open dialogue with Lazio.

Mandas is thought to be keen on a return to the Premier League and enjoyed his spell in the second half of last season.

Brighton in talks to extend Veltman's deal

Brighton are in talks with right-back Joel Veltman about a new contract.

Negotiations are ongoing with the Dutchman, Your Site News understands.

The 34-year-old's current deal expires this summer.

'Uniteds forward search depends on Zirkzee's future'

Latest from Your Site News' Danyal Khan, Vikash Varange, Chris Reidy, Dharmesh Sheth, Lyall Thomas, Mark McAdam & Vinny OConnor:

Manchester United could also look to add a versatile forward this summer depending on the potential departure of Joshua Zirkzee.

Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha all reached double figures in their debut seasons at Old Trafford, but understandably United may look to strengthen their attacking options with more games including Champions League football to look forward to.

Aston Villas Morgan Rogers is a player the club are interested in, with Villa expected to listen to offers around the 80m mark. It remains to be seen whether United could match that figure in addition to other incomings, but his potential sale would significantly benefit Villas ability to reinvest in Unai Emerys squad this summer.

Evertons Iliman Ndiaye is another option United are monitoring as Your Site News reported in March, however, he has three years left on his current contract and any deal is understood to be unlikely in this window.

A lesser known name in England that United are also showing interest in is Lilles 21-year-old striker Matias Fernandez Pardo. The young forward can also play on the wings and was arguably a surprise inclusion in Belgiums World Cup squad, having contributed eight goals and five assists for Lille in Ligue 1 last season.

However, much of Uniteds search for a forward will depend on the future of Zirkzee. The Dutchman remains a curious case as he has been understood to be a positive influence around the changing room since his arrival at the club in 2024, but has not been able to build any sort of momentum on the pitch.

His exit is not guaranteed this summer, but if he does depart, it leaves room for United to strengthen their forward options.

United also looking at Scott & Dele-Bashiru

Latest from Your Site News' Danyal Khan, Vikash Varange, Chris Reidy, Dharmesh Sheth, Lyall Thomas, Mark McAdam & Vinny OConnor:

Manchester United also continue to retain a long-term interest in Bournemouths Alex Scott, but as Your Site News reported at the end of May, the Cherries have begun talks over a new contract with the player, who is deemed not for sale in this window.

Whether the club look to test that resolve  remains to be seen.

As United showed last season with Brightons Carlos Baleba, they are unlikely to move on a player if they deem an oppositions evaluation too high despite that, the Cameroon international is another option they continue to keep on their radar, but there would need to be a significant breakthrough in valuation between the two clubs for any potential move to happen.

A name United could look at is Napolis Fisayo Dele-Bashiru the Nigeria international is on their midfield list. The former Sheffield Wednesday player has two years left on his contract and although he is happy in Italy, sources close to the player believe he is open to a move to the Premier League.

The question remains whether United will look to sign two more midfielders in addition to Ederson, with Mason Mount being played in a deeper position towards the end of the season.

Tyler Fletcher is also expected to be more involved with the first team next season. The additional experience the 19-year-old will now get being part of Scotlands upcoming World Cup campaign will be a huge boost when he returns to Carrington later this summer.

One midfielder who is expected to leave the club is Manuel Ugarte. The player had little impact last season, but started Uruguays last two international games in March and could play a big part in their World Cup campaign, which Uniteds hierarchy will hope increase any potential re-sale this summer.

'At least one midfielder arriving at Man Utd this summer'

Latest from Your Site News' Danyal Khan, Vikash Varange, Chris Reidy, Dharmesh Sheth, Lyall Thomas, Mark McAdam & Vinny OConnor:

Having all but secured the signing of Atalantas Ederson, Manchester United are continuing to look for opportunities to expand, strengthen and balance their squad Michael Carrick will work with next season with at least one more midfielder and potentially another forward arriving at Old Trafford this summer.

As we reported on Tuesday, United are currently exploring a deal to sign West Hams Mateus Fernandes.

As the club are doing with other targets, United are continuing to do background work on Fernandes, as he is seen as a realistic deal after the Hammers relegation, with midfield remaining a priority for the club to strengthen this window.

Your Site News understands West Ham value Fernandes at around 80m and are in no rush to sell the player. The Hammers signed the Portugal midfielder for an initial fee of 38m last summer.

Nottingham Forests Elliot Anderson continues to be high on Uniteds list of targets, with the club holding a long-term interest in the England midfielder.

Forest have rejected an initial offer by neighbours Manchester City and the coming weeks will be telling to see whether United wait to see how Andersons future, which could likely be resolved after the World Cup or if they decide to move on to other targets in that time instead.

Perez pens new London City deal

Maria Perez has agreed a new contract with the London City Lionesses until the summer of 2028.

The Catalan, 24, was due to be out of contract at The Copperjax Community Stadium at the end of June, but she will now remain with the club until summer 2028.

Im so happy to be extending my contract at London City," the Spain midfielder, who joined London City from Barcelona in the summer 2024, told the WSL club's website.

I feel settled at the club, in the country and the league and it was an easy decision.

As soon as the club spoke to me, I knew I wanted to stay here. Im still young and ready to compete and give everything for this club.

What we want to create as a team and a club, for me its the best project in the English league."

Traore leaves West Ham after just six months

West Ham will release Adama Traore just six months after signing the Spanish winger from Fulham in January, the Hammers have announced.

The length of the 30-year-old's contract was not made public at the time of his arrival, but he will depart the London Stadium after making 12 appearances in half a season, without scoring.

Lukasz Fabianski also departs east London after eight years at the club, at the age of 41.

Hearts confirm Ba-Sy signing

Hearts have announced the signing of Amadou Ba-Sy

The towering striker joins the Jambos on a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee from Championnat National side FC Rouen.

Newcastle complete Jaouen deal

Newcastle have confirmed the signing of Ewen Jaouen.

The goalkeeper joins on a 18.5m deal from Reims, and completed his medical yesterday.

On his signing, Jaouen told the club's website: Im really excited to become a Newcastle United player.

When I visited the training ground, I could see how passionate everyone is about the club and the work they do, and I loved the environment straight away. I also had the chance to see the stadium and its huge.

Ive heard so much about the supporters and how they are the best in the country. The passion of the entire city and the atmosphere at St James Park are famous throughout football, and I cant wait to experience that for myself and become a true Geordie.

As a goalkeeper, I enjoy one on one situations and playing as a modern keeper, building from the back and being comfortable with the ball at my feet. Now I want to develop alongside the amazing players and staff here, enjoy my football, and prove my value on the pitch.
